I assume you meant one CAN’T expect miracles I agree with you, with the added convenience, and of course the brand appeal, low rates are unlikely – in fact higher rates are needed to renumerate each partner. In general we look at store-related cards for store benefits (store discounts, specials etc), and other cards for low rates. Great comment, thanks!

Target is certainly a big chain and they have their hands in just about everything. I’m sure getting a Target store credit card is not very tough, but at the same time, with so many choices for buying things it’s easy to get into debt with them because they have everything a person needs. It would be nice if they had some of the best interest rates to go along with their low prices, but one can expect miracles.
